Proverbs 10:26-28

²⁶ Like vinegar to the teeth and like smoke to the eyes,
So is the ^(A)sluggard to those who send him.
²⁷ The ^(B)fear of Yahweh prolongs ^[a]life,
But the ^(C)years of the wicked will be shortened.
²⁸ The ^(D)expectation of the righteous is gladness,
But the ^(E)hope of the wicked will perish.
